New England in the fall is world famous for the changing color of its trees. The reds, greens, and yellows that photograph so well in color also produce wonderful and varied tonalities in black and white. Add a few old barns and farmhouses, town squares and church spires, rivers and ponds, country roads and covered bridges, and you have all the elements for quintessential fall photography. The area we will cover is actually quite compact, so we will base ourselves out of only a couple of locations and drive to the premier spots for the best light. There will be plenty of time for deliberate compositions, honing technique, and review of previous work.
