Alaska means "The Great Country" in Aleut. In photography it means "fantastic pictures." This is a landscape of superlatives. Beginning in Anchorage, We'll work south to the Portage Glacier and the 600-foot-deep Portage Lake to see calving glaciers, and on to Whittier and the glacier fields of Prince William Sound. We'll also work the beautiful Chugach State Park, Turnagain Arm, and the Hatcher Pass area, moving through Talkeetna as far north as Denali.
