This workshop is timed to take advantage of fall weather and color in the White Mountains and covers Sipes Ranch, Pole Knole, Greens Peak lookout, Sheeps Crossing, Big Lake, and the Alpine area. This region includes Ponderosa pine forests and huge Aspen forests at altitudes of 7500 feet or above.
Sedona! Famous around the world for its red rock vistas. Almost from the beginning, Hollywood used the buttes, pinnacles, mesas, and canyons of this area as a paradigm of the West. It has been the setting for myriad novels and the subject of countless paintings. This is the location of Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, and Steam Boat Rock. This is where you'll photograph fall colors changing along the creeks where red rock warms reflections. The location names say it all: Boynton Canyon, West Fork of Oak Creek, Schnebley Hill, Vultee Arch, Slide Rock.
